Contributing to Flagstaff’s Economic Vitality
About Us
We make Flagstaff an Ideal Place for Business, Residents, and Visitors
What We Do
The City of Flagstaff Economic Development Offices are a part of our Community Investment Division.
Our Community Investment Division includes Economic Development, Beautification, Arts & Sciences, and Parking Management (ParkFlag).
Here’s a summary of what they do:
- Beautification, Arts & Sciences stewards the public art and sciences through community engagement and partnership.
- Economic Development focuses on business attraction, retention, and expansion. Choose Flagstaff is an extension of the Economic Development program. We strive to make doing business in Flagstaff easier and keeping businesses happy, healthy, and thriving.
- ParkFlag manages parking in Flagstaff’s downtown. Our parking aides serve as ambassadors providing high-level customer service and answering your questions about parking and all things downtown.
All of these entities may seem unrelated, yet they are united by one common theme: Each interacts with the public. Quite often, they’re the first impression of Flagstaff.
Uniting these offices creates a strategic advantage, because interdisciplinary teams bring out the best in all of us. No matter our expertise, we share the same goal:
Make Flagstaff an ideal place for businesses, residents, and visitors.
